Mr. Wonderful and I attended the 20th Annual American Graffiti Festival in Modesto, CA in June of 2018. What a great event! Everything was very organized. Registration was super speedy, the parade was a Once-in-a-Lifetime experience. To cruise the main drag in downtown Modesto with 1300 hotrods was amazing!
Hubby and I had to snap a selfie to commemorate making the checkmark in this bucket list item.
The car show was held both Saturday and Sunday at the Municipal Golf Course. What a great location for a car show. My feet were thankful to be walking on turf rather than pavement all day! Lots of vendors, food trucks and live music were present on the grounds.
Our daughter and her fiancé were able to drive over and spend the weekend with us! We enjoyed the opportunity to wear some great pins fashions.
The committee planning the event recognized us as having traveled more than 1700 miles to attend the festival.
What trip down the American Graffiti Memory Lane would be complete without a trip to the real Paradise Road?
Check out more about the event by visiting the American Graffiti Festival’s Facebook page. The event is organized and run by volunteers, members of the North Modesto Kiwanis Club.
